We are located on a small island over looking Prince Rupert.
We run 24 foot Skagit Orcas and a 24 foot Sea sport.
Terms: This is a seasonal, full time job
Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.
Experience: is an asset.
Credentials required: The applicant should have First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate.
Specific Skills: Advise on safety and regulations, Prevent legislation violations
Additional Skills: Operate and maintain watercraft, Operate communication (including emergency) devices, Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment, Maintain equipment, Prepare fish and game for shipping
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Work Location Information: Staff accommodation available, Room and board provided, Rural area, Remote location, On-site customer service
Essential Skills:Customer service, Reading text, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Continuous learning
Other Information: Must have a Small Vessel Operator Proficiency Certificate, Med A3. Roc-M or higher certification, ocean boating experience a must, preference will be given to applicants with previous fishing guide experience.
