GLG I will take you up on that. Once I get the hang, set up I will contact you here. Hey the dealer suggested I add a kicker. I took his advice and went with Yamaha 8 the one with more torque. $2700. He dropped a few hun off.
They make a fish finder / GPS in one. What model would you go with?

Yamaha 8 is perfect for that boat. That's what I'm running.
Combo FF/GPS is what I think works for us fair weather trailer boat guys.
I'm running the older Lowrance because it came with the boat.
Not thrilled with it but I don't rely on it for finding fish or navigation.
I use my head for that.
I do think knowing your depth while fishing or running is very important.

Others on here have been happy with the new Lowrance HD series.
The bigger the screen the better.

Yeah, seems like Outfitters and Gone Fishing are the same. Scotty, electric at 420 each. Which store do you prefer?

Can't say I know which is better.
Try your dealer he may give you the same price and do the install too.

Try Trotac in Victoria or Harbour Chandlers in Nanaimo they are the best service and prices I find. For your kicker I would go with the forward controls if you can.
