downrigger stops

I saw on a fishing show where I believe it was Mark Peddleton describing a way to attach your downrigger line to the downrigger ball without using the plastic stops. There is a tie up that stops the weight from hitting the down rigger. Any one know this tie up ?

I use essentially the same setup as the tuna cord but I use 150lb braid on the other side of the swivel to scotty rubber snubbers. Works well for me.

If you do a search of the site you'll pick up lots of tips. Some folks who don't have confidence in the swivel use some type of knot to join braid to ganion/cord.

I use 500 lb mono in place of ganion and I'm going without the swivel this year-braid to mono.
