Crabing in Cow Bay

We are staying the weekend in cow bay and wondering if anyone knows of the best area for the crab pots. We have never crabbed in the area before. Might also do some fishing any reports on fish in the area. Thanks.

Try just before cherry point. 80-100ft. It can be spotty but when it's good its really good.

If you want to make the trip to mill bay, you can drop about 200 yards off the gas dock you'll likely find success in around 75 feet of water. Cherry Point has been hit or miss for me this season, but as said above when it's good it's really good.
