Anchor chain/roll flat question

so I am going to try putting 1 1/2 roll flat (discharge hose) over my halibut anchor chain. Anyone else do this? If so how do you attach it at the rope end so it doesn't get thrashed coming through the Scotsman puller ring? I'm kinda thinking hose clamp or zap strap with heavy heat shrink over top to make it smoothish and just repair as necessary.

Any feedback from you smart fisher folks appreciated.

So to answer my own question, and if anyone is interested, once you get that chain through you don’t need anyway of attaching it because getting that chain through that hose is a ***** and it isn’t going anywhere. Now I say goodbye to chain pile ups/knots and chain rash on my boat on retrieval.
