I would like to pod this boat that I am thinking of purchasing. Has anyone had this done and there experience with it. How it rides? Any issues with podding boat? Any help or info would be great.

I'm not familiar with that hull. If you're podding, expect to put a lot of money into it. You'll have to not go in with horse blinders and likely rectify a lot of stuff that will ultimately add up. Fiberglass work is costly when not done yourself. Doing it right the first go will give years and years of enjoyment. Cutting corners may lead to headaches.

Conservatively if you have to redo the entire floor, stringers, transom etc, then factor in pod, power and electronics, you'll easily be 30-50k into it depending on how you outfit the boat. In today's boat market that may not be too bad but just wanted to give perspective since I have done it a couple times.

Thank you I appreciate it.

I am in process of podding. That boat would probably need at least a 200. I would say doing new motors and pod your leaning towards 40k to 45k. One thing on podding it isn't for everyone the costs add up quickly.

If your talking new floors etc could be higher....

Watch out for the floor on old campion.

Thank you I appreciate it. This boat is just hull no floors. I’m planning on it taking two years.
