Will be interested to see how many boats decided to head to the South Arm this a.m. … we ran across in the slop to Saltspring this morning and the waves were definitely up in the center of the strait … definitely wasn’t a day to suggest to the much better half that we should drop the lines.

Fished West Van between PA and fisheries from 8-11 this morning. Lots of bait sprinkled with arches. 1 pin popper on anchovy at 66 on the DR in 110 FOW at 9am. 14 lb hatchery Chinooksaurus Rex. Only 1 other bite. Couple of boats dip nets for smallish fish But not much action. Worked the full arsenal but bait got the 2 hits today. Time to start hitting the rivers or targeting feeders in the Sound.

have u heard how its been for feeder springs

Hit the heads on last shot today. Sloppy start but laid down OK by 10. Lots of wild coho, 2 feeders then went quiet until 1145 am. Boom rod explodes and is ripping line, ended up with a beauty 22 lbs marble spring after sheer net incompetence by myself, haha! 6" herring in a bloody nose teaser at 110' just north of the light station in 240'. I'm interested in hearing the cap reports...cheers

Yep, nothing to see here. Good to see you posting a report lol

There was one lonely boat at the north arm when I headed back in yesterday around 1 pm. Didn't see much on the sounder but who knows? BTW heard the cap turned on later yesterday between 5 and 6 pm...
