Nice, but...
1. I swore that I would not buy another Ford product since my 1986 Bronco's paint slowly peeled off every time I accelerated past 65 mph. (I've had a 2012 F150 since and currently drive a F350 SD).
two. The big 3 auto manufacturers WILL figure out a way to screwup their own product. Call it "built in obsolescence" . There are way too many fancy electronics on this baby to take it past its warranty period.
iii. Not a fan of Ecoboost. Had one in the F150: horsepower out of a sewing machine motor is not everything. Bring in a diesel.
fore. Towing capacity is more a product of wheel base. Nothing you can do (legally) to tow more. Missing doors are fun but not necessarily legal in our province. Something about crash test standards as told to me by an RCMP officer when I had my TJ stripped down one summer.
I've been waiting a lot of years for a diesel Rubicon Unlimited: maybe this will give Jeep some incentive to innovate.
