If you apply the logic of the 1st nations that this land and everything in is is theirs by their being here first then the ancestors of the first people across the land bridge from what was then Siberia should be the rightful owners of this land.
However, the landbridge between Siberia and Alaska was open for thousands of years so who knows who came first and who came thousands of years later,the ones who came later cannot be 1st nations anymore than than my Scottish ancestors,they are immigrants the same as my family.
This whole business of 1st nations...and if you look around the local reserves which could be municpalities in Norway...is nothing than political posturing to see how much can be gouged from Gvmt.
