Fished Bell yesterday, was pretty slow in the morning quite a few boats out, most of the flock of boats were heading towards QA
decided to stick around the Bell, regular gear wasn't working, put on a AP Hearing spoon on and started getting bites
spoon matched up herring pretty nice, bellies of the fish were loaded.

Probably the most bait i have ever seen out there, 140 feet of water and it was from the top of the water to bottom loaded bait balls, gulls pecking
away at the surface.

I like mine but they didn't have fancy colours like yours when I bought.
I think they were a special item for just Harbour Chandler only.

Fished harbour yesterday a lot of the mass bait balls have moved on or flushed out by the tides, relentless wind, fished most of the day
just a hand full of boats out, pretty quite fishing from what i could see.

Just crossed over on the ferry to Nanaimo. It's rough one today. As George Constanza would say - "The sea is angry my friends, just like an old man sending back cold soup in a deli!"

On my way to the hump. Will update.

UPDATE : bite turned off like a light switch. Epic morning. Found a very large herring in the smaller keeper. 1 white, 1 marble.

UPDATE : if you can fish the hump. GET OUT HERE.
I've only ever fished it a few times and didn't see many boats when I did. Seems like a huge area. Is there a specific ledge or area most guys fish?

People like to congregate near the southeast corner but it's really no better than anywhere else. Troll around until you get a bite and just keep circling that area until the bites stop.
