Same here, running up to Powell River tomorrow for a couple days. Get back into the swing of things.I think I've forgotten how to catch salmon. Been very slow for me and my mates the last few weeks.
You were on the flood tide, always love fishing the flood, right from the low ebb to the high flood. Good on you, sounds like a couple nice fish.Got a near 14 and near 18 at quarry today. Was nice to hook up something with size for a change. Both caught with a turd hootchie mid afternoon nowhere near any tide change. Was at the pilings earlier. Insane bait over there but only undersize for us.
Nice to hear. We just got to the pilings a few minutes ago. Pretty good chop going out out in the open water. Still a lot of bait here. Hoping for a 25 or two ourselves.I heard the livey guys were smashing them this weekend at Epsom. Some 25 lbers landed.
Is it the NW they are calling for?Nice to hear. We just got to the pilings a few minutes ago. Pretty good chop going out out in the open water. Still a lot of bait here. Hoping for a 25 or two ourselves.
