BifMalibu.........has a 30horse Merc EFI on it. The kicker is a Merc 4horse one cylinder. Wish I'd never bought the kicker. It vibrates like hell cuz it's a one-lunger. I'm going to look around for a 2cyl Yammy that doesn't weigh too much. Nowadays the small-horse 2-bangers are hard to find. I troll with the 30 as a result. Tops out about 30 miles an hour wide open. (haven't GPS'd myself yet). I was told by the dealer you don't get the "make-oil" much at all with the EFI on the 30 horse.. It is more prone to happen in carbureted engines. Doesn't burn much gas. I can be out there all day, going all over the place and trolling and when I get in my 6 gallon tank is still 1/3 full. If I use the 4 horse for a kicker....I could probably make it to Vancouver and back on one tank.....LOL. My only beef with Lund is they went a little light on the armor...........60 thou on the sides and 80 thou on the bottom. Would have liked 80 thou on the sides and 120 thou on the bottom.
WTF Jac? you spent all winter getting this cat of yours setup and then you just trade it in just like that? lol thats awesome! I hope you keep the ladies around a little longer then your boats!

The cat was to big for me to tow with the Tacoma so it had to go! I have 8 boats over the last 5 years but the same girl for the last 9. But if I keep buying and selling boats keeping the wife around will be tricky, she has had enough of the boat swapping!
We anchored up and slept beside this unit in Barkley Sound Sunday night. I've never purchased a lottery ticket in my life, you'd likely need to win several to float in this kind of style! The chopper is a nice touch, maybe he uses it for spotting bait balls to save running time???????
