I forecast the nucks will be down 2 in the first period but and lose 4-1 at the end of the third period... :)

So Edler is suspended 3 games for a hit nobody including the refs, coaches, players or commentators registered on their radar. In fact I don't even think the guy who got hit thought much of it.

New NHL standard, if your opponents helmet comes off after a hit you may be suspended (or will if you play for a non favoured market).

Poor Edler he is a repeat offender because of that other borderline call when he bumped mike smith behind the net last year. That's one borderline suspension and one bogus suspension against him I guess if he hits somebody again he'll be out of the league.
 
He still showed intent at the last second. If there wasn't the little lunge then no suspension unless you are a Canuck.

Nope, respectively I disagree; judging from the replay he was setting him up for a clean check, last minute changes to avoid being hit caused the accidental helmet contact. Interesting to note there was no penalty after the play.

We all know that the Canucks are probably the most hated team in the league by all other teams, player's, reff's and that mindless schmuck Shanahan. They will never win a cup as that will not be permitted by the NHL.

I like what I see..down some good talent right now.. seem to be buying into the new system.. coach is saying the right things..and a good start on a hard road trip.... I'm away for the next 2 games... Nucks lose 4-2 on sat. win 3-1 on Sunday... :)
