Your favorite Spoons

Bait is probably the most consistent, but some days, for some reason, spoons will by far out fish bait. There area those days, especially when there is a lot of shakers around that you can not be sure your even fishing with bait unless your constantly checking it.
Same as the brown turd is king on some days

Squid are usually around Bamfield at the start of July, thus the recommendation to take some turds. I believe flashers are meant to match the feeding salmon, and not the bait (thus the success of green around the Fraser). We've had success in Barkley during July with glow herring aid flashers.

Well was just going over my gear hoping to get out this weekend and noticed the line was pulling up into the split ring... I'm going to cut them all off and make rings and weld them.

How would that happen? Did you originally tie to the single ring, or to the double ring?
