where are the pinks?

no pinks around the Comox Valley yet as far as i can see or tell. do you know any different?

tons in the oyster already and lots of guys fishing them from the beach in front of salmon point marina

I concur, there is an old fella that volunteers at the Oyster River hatchery and says that they've had several hundreds of pinks make it up river so far. The shore fisherman are a little frustrated, they say that the salmon are out a little further than usual and they aren't catching as many as in the past...
