What's your worst fishing related accident/injury

After a big strike I jumped out the helm seat and made it a step or two when BANG my Meniscus blew out on my right knee. Whenit popped it was so loud one of the guys said "what the hell was that?" Surgery a week later.

Sockeye fishing a few years back got the hook caught in the private parts on an errant cast. Amazing how much one
hook puncture can bleed when it gets you in the right place .
All healed up in a few days,no permanent damage done except to my ego...
Very embarrassing at the time. Still get bugged about it from time to time.

Ahhh. The benefits of barbless hooks!

I had a friend who was hooked with a barbed lure at Clover point. Guy beside him hooked him on a cast. Went to emergency. Guy was royally pi**ed my friend wouldn't return the lure.
