What Did You Do To Your Boat This Week?

Took the ole girl out of hibernation. Took the windshield off and re sealed back down to the fibreglass. I was having quite a bit of water come through in to the helm and cuddy so I hope this helps.
Tops back on, charger on the batteries and into Parker next week for some maintenance.
She’ll be in her slip in a couple off weeks. TheHurtLocker is back baby!

They ordered the wrong prop and I got there to see a 4 blade 19 pitch, so I had them pop a black stainless 3 blade 19 on until my shiny one arrives.
I went to go for a break in run but it was pretty sloppy and you need to be able to control the RPM’s so it isn’t happening today. Guages match up nicely and they gave the boat a full scrub. Also rewired the whole thing apparently and changed the fuse box from glass to blades. Nice work S&G!!

All she needs is some fish blood on her shiny skirts....
Nicely done, man. Congrats!

Charged the batteries and scrubbed off last falls fish goo splatter from the inside of the gunnels, deck and down in the bilge...spic and span again now. Have to do a trip down to Friday Harbour to help a friend deliver a boat this week. Hope to get a good water day and give the boat a good run and burn out the stabilized fuel.

Got a few things done.

Tune up on the motors, new vent screen on the head vent pipe, two new bildges, new 12" Lowrance HDS Live and new TM 185HW transducer installed on the back fish deck steering station wired in to the NMEA backbone, two new house batteries, cleaned up some unprotected/unfastened wiring from stern to the helm that the factory was sloppy with, took the floor out removed the old floor gasket and put new water tight gasket in, replaced damaged cb antanae with a new one, welded in two new net holders in better quicker access spots on port and starboard sides, removed the fridge to clean and check all wiring in behind it and to tidy up factory installed wires and route new electronics wiring, and a new bulb and lense gasket for one of my bow spot lights.

I'm putting in two drawers to better use the storage under the vee berth. Built the boxes and sleeves from Baltic birch plywood. Coping into the bow contour was a bit challenging but it's done. I love PL Premium for gluing things like this to the fiberglass. The white, thermofoil drawer fronts are coming from good ole Ikea, with molded-in finger pulls. Should look sleek!

Only upgrades I have made so far are connecting my HDS Live to my VHF and installing a battery charger.

Me waiting for my Hourston to be podded
Been 7 weeks in the shop
Hi
Looking into ( maybe) having my 23 ft Striper podded as well. Do you mind if you tell me what shop are you using to have the job done ? And approximately how much the project will cost? I hope I don’t cross the line with my questions, you can PM me if you would like
Thank you
D

You definitively aren't finished until those canvas windows are tinted like the truck haha...looks killer, congrats. Is 124.9 HP enough tho?

The cops seem to notice my tint too...

Yeah she’s powered properly. 90 was good, this will be amazing. can’t wait to log some hours

Well it’s almost ready to go. start putting gear back in the boat. Last weekend the kid and I changed the fuel line from the kicker to the new water separator that we just installed. I polished the boat and did bearing on the trailer in October while we had good weather. Kind of nice it’s done with the weather we’ve been having. Next weekend we’ll give it a bath to get the winter dust off it. And it’ll be Hali time , and the reels are all serviced and ready for the season.
