"left peices of skin and blubber" Jeezuz, and they said it was seemingly unharmed and seen swiming around after the collision. If the thing lost blubber you can certainly bet that damn thing was very injured. Wow, too bad. Obviously the whale was daydreaming[:0]

I witnessed a similar incident with out the contact involving a Grey Whale, 24' Grady and several pairs of soiled underwear in the Broken Group about 5:45am on July 6th.
