wanted combustion outboard for a canoe

I have a 80's 2hp johnson it runs good but top end is just to fast for canoe,and lowest end is too fast for trolling.Any thaughts as to where to purchase a good gas motor for my 15 foot frontier canoe?I am quite handy and could repair a broken one like a old seagull .thanks FC

Maybe consider the 2.5HP Lehr propane outboards. I had heard they are great for small boats and slow trolling.
Plus low emissions and less fumes etc...
Runs on camp stove propane bottles too!

Ah, yeah something tiny would be better I'm sure
The propane outboards are about 40lbs I believe + fuel canisters.
