Impulse buy; 5 Hp High Thrust Merc PROPANE
I purchased this motor a couple of weeks ago and have used it on Elk lake and Shawnigan Lake for a total of 7 hours.
Still have not broken in yet. The motor runs perfectly just as it should, I love the concept of the propane, no gas/oil smell, low maintenance. It also has battery charging capability (trickle charger)
The reason I am selling: is it will not push my 15' aluminum fast enough. The boat is a Smoker Craft which is a heavy aluminum and with all my gear is fairly heavy.
I watched Youtube videos of the same motor pushing 12' aluminums up on a plane at a good clip so thought I would give er a try. My loss your gain.
$1,650 OBO Will include a brand new engine cover, just purchased for this motor.
