Wanted - 115 hp to 150 hp four stroke

Hi guys,

I'm still looking for the right motor for my Malibu 185 being podded. If anyone knows of a motor for sale that might work please let me know. Budget is about $7k for now. Thanks!

Suggestion only, 115hp will be too small.
I would only consider 130-150 .
just my 2 cents

There are lots of 182's with 115 hp on the back, but I agree it's on the light side. A 140 zuke might be perfect... if I can find one.

I had a 182 with a Honda 115. Now that is a BIG engine in terms of weight and it did OK but a 140 or 150 would be way better.

Thanks Brando... Even if I was considering etec its the wrong shaft length. Also, there is something odd about a 9 year old motor with 20 hrs...

150 Verado.... I would think a 115 would push your 17 pretty well. Do you need a 20" or 25" shaft?
