Victoria fishing, October/November

I have a friend that might be down in Victoria October-November, who was asking me about local fishing during that time.

All my memories of where and when Victoria fish action might be are filtered through roughly 10 years of youth, followed by 20 years of Alberta Premium. If anyone has specific tips for decent autumn fishing on the southern tip of the island, I'd sure appreciate it just so I could pass it along.

Assume you're talking salmon?
there will be Coho at that time but more numbers further west.
we also start getting some feeder springs , but they are usually small.
on good tides, you might try for Halibut.
