skunked at Constance this a.m.
fished 9:30 till 12:45 and dragged hootchies,strip and spoons.
Nada. Must be the full moon

by noon the water flattend out, and it was great !

i saw a few guys anchored up on the bank...
the currents were pretty strong, was it hard to keep the
gear down ?

Fished Constance on Sunday, nothing. (just barking fish)
At least a dozen boats fishing, asked the marina when I got back if anything was weighed in, no Halis.
Anyone else lucked out? Sounded dead on the radio too. Maybe next time! Tides seemed alright! Finding the bottom was no trouble at all!

heard there was one boat that got into a few flatties out there on the weekend. Not sure exactly where though

There was at least 10 boats trolling for salmon this a.m. on
Constance. I saw a few nets out, and bagged a 6lber on a purple haze
hootchie. One good bang off the rigger about 1/2 hour later, on the same gear, but one head shake and it was gone.

I work near the Esq anglers so I drive by regularly , no more than three trailors a day at one time in the parking lot , looks slow to me

I've limited on springs the last two times, 8 1/2 to 19 lbs, and saw another angler doing well also. The guides are all over the place - Sooke, Waterfront, Oak Bay and they tell me the fish are scattered. The humpies can be caught way out past race, but haven't heard of anything by the yellow can buoy.

The waterfront fishing is picking up. The other day i saw a nice 25lber netted a bit off the breakwater
