Vancouver fishing derby?

Went to my least favorite boating retailer yesterday (WM) in Richmond .I was informed about a derby coming up Aug 25 . $30 a head $15 goes to charity.Sounds not too bad exept the local fishing is pretty scarce.I may go in I have not decided yet.Any one else heard about this derby? Goin' in?

Half to what charity? $30/head isn't too bad. However, what are the prizes?
