Tuna fishing offshore ukee & tofino

I have been fishing Ukee for 5 years now and I am really interested in tuna fishing this year. I have never fished them and would greatly apreciate tips and advice on gear and trolling speeds. Also locaiting the fish. I work with sme guys that comercial fish Blue fin in Newfoundland and there fishing tech has some good pointers but they also go offshore for a month. I could stay out 2 to 3 days if the weathers good 3 guys doing shifts at night pending on weather to locate fish but I would rather reach out for info from experianced people running day trips. You mean Salt Ice it's widely available the fish plant in Ukee sells it.
