Trailer winch recommendations

The ancient electric winch on my trailer has died and I’m looking to replace it with a manual winch. I moor my boat most of the year and only launch and retrieve a few times a year, which is why I’m going for a manual.

It’s a roller trailer and I’m guessing my 18 foot Hourston hardtop (115 Yamaha 4 stroke and 9.9 Suzuki kicker) fully loaded with fuel, riggers etc. weighs 3000 pounds. Does that sound about right? I’ve never weighed it and the Hourston website is long gone, so I can’t get the basic hull weigh, which is why I’m guessing and looking for help.

I assume a 3000 or 3500 pound winch is what I need?

I’d be grateful for your wisdom and experience. I searched the forum, but no luck.

I do have a used 912 Powerwinch I'm selling. $250

Remember you're not lifting 3000 lbs, just rolling a portion of that up the trailer.
Princess auto 2 speed 1200 or 1800lb with an auto towing strap or dyneema fiber rope to replace steel cable will work.
