Interesting to read the guys wishing SLOT limits were in place earlier.

I'm a believer in them they do make a difference the big fish must spawn.

That was (is) simply a part of it. The salt water fishery (from all angles) and the introduction of millions of salmon clones explicitly to support and increase that, likely played as much, if not an even more significant role...
