Was thinking of a trip up that way mid sept..Any northern coho's around then, and what is the hali fishing like that time of year?

In a 'normal' year, should be lots of northerns...and big too, but apparently its the dead sea so far this year. I used to fish Malcolm around end of August and it was like offshore coho fishing...non stop double headers all day. Was a blast and arm was ready to fall off by the end of the day. Haven't been up in a few years though. I'd be surprised if there is much action on halibut then, but someone else may be able to answer that better.

bump....how about a little earlier, around Sept 6? Seems like the fishing up there has been very slow?

Come on guys, help the Islandgirl out here. I can't give her any advice, as I've never gone up there that late. How is the Halibut fishing then, and are they in the same locations and depths as earlier in the year. I'm sure someone must do a little Halibut fishing up there in Sept.
