Went out Fri and sat. Not a sniff friday, got a dozen on Saturday. Started out on the Northside of Douglas Island then hit the mouth of the Stave for 4 hours. Three quarters of the fish we got were in Coquitlam. Biggest was just under 6'.
Sure hasnt been many big ones around.
Is that what the Oolichan run has been decimated so bad that the big boys arent travelling for the spring fattening?
Was allways a good time to get into the 6-8 footers but from what ive seen and heard there hasnt been many good ones at all.
We were on the Fraser river, mostly near 'Chilliwack mountain'. I am not 100% with the terrain HH. With the river being a little higher the guide was jazzed about hitting some places that you couldn't fish a few weeks back. And with the wind we did a bit of running and gunning.
I know if I was on the mainland I would be sturgeon fishing every day! WOW
