Hypothetically speaking,
I might ask a question like this if a friend of a friend, got an outboard motor at a Ridiculously low price, for the sake of the point let's say $1500, and it was brand new, and mint.
Nobody would sell a motor like that in that condition for under $4000...

One of those too good to be true scenarios? From my experiences I've learned that your 6th sense is very intuitive amd should be listened to ....
I've called the cops on what I thought was a stolen boat, turns out the guy was a stand up kinda person, actually worked for the coast Gaurd. Bought the boat in the end after I knew it wasn't stolen.
My spicy senses were tingling so I went with it
