Same as every weekend this time of year, Lots of Nooks and Coho making the move for Robertson Creek!!

Pass the Pack

theres tons of coho n chinook, fished it friday and saturday the coho took my spinner right when it hit the water about 1/3rd of the time, never went 3 cast with out hitting a ho or spring, friday lost 1 steely, and saturday got 1 hatch doe about 6lbs to the beach n lost another steely at the beach, all n all its in good shape!

hey steelheadman, where are some good spots on the stamp? I've only fished the bucket, caught a lot of fish but lost all my wool setups and it was really crowded and lots of snaggers which isnt a ton of fun. i'm more of a spinner/fish that bite kind of guy.

Just now back to the flow, like the decent report. Hunting anon, so hopefully see the report as real.

Cheers,
Nog

its wasnt very busy at'll, i went friday saturday and sunday and saw 10 people at the most. i have my secret spots....but im not gunna share, cause then they wouldent be secret, just spend ur time n walk the system and find the fish and then put on lil brass coloraro a few med size split shot 3 feet up and hold on,im not having much luck in the pools, im fishing the faster water. im hitting it up again this weekend got the weekend off work "sweetness" 1 problem though the okuma reels are bull crap my drag is burnt out already<img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle> very disapointed 5 trips lol must mean im good or something, well gotta go do some homework damn school! well eagle-eyes my email is in my profile, send me an email and maybe ill tell you... well cya

steelhead, I dont need any secret spots or anything just a point in the right direction as far as general areas or river acess. I've never fished the stamp and know very little about the river. Done a good amount of river fishing just not there. Have you ever tried fishing marabou jigs? For trophy coho they are by far my #1. 22 pounder 2 years ago on that.

hey eagle-eyes go along beaver creekroad out past beaver creekschool and you will see the old stampfalls store, turn down the gravel road that goes along there property, drive the road till it opens up you will see 1 road nearest you, and 1 road that is on the right hand side, park your vehicle and walk down the rooad on your right. at the end of the trail theres a pool, which has good fish in the tail out, you could walk up or down its all awesome water to fish, well good luck!

thanx steelhead I'll probly be going there next weekend! much appreciated. hopefully there'll be some nice cohos by then too.

sounds like a great day. i might have to try it next weekend. gotta stock up on some gold colorado blades i guess.

Im goin this weekend. My first time seriously fishing in a river. What sould i use were should i go amd should i bother with waders or can i get away without them? I was thinking of useing a float 3 foot leader green/white wool and red/orange wool. And blue fox spinner chrome #4, koho with blue scales and dymara and blue fow spoons. I was thinking of going near the gun club??? i have no clue were it is can anyone give me directions????

beachcomber NANOOSE

the only other time ive fished the stamp i fished the bucket(walk up about 15 mins from the gun club on the trail) and got a lot of fish, but lost nearly all my wool setups. however once i learned the holes it wasnt too bad. i wouldnt go back because it was a snag show though. but if u wanted to get into fish im sure you could hook some there.
