Southern Gulf Islands??? Salmon Reports or Advice?

Hi All,

Not sure if anyone has any advice for areas around Pender/Saturna/Mayne etc right now?

Just got a call from a group that are circumnavigating Van Isle in their sailboat but are currently in at Bedwell and trying some fishing with little success.

Thanks if anyone has some ideas.

Lots of boats out around Morseby over the weekend, but didn't hear of anyone getting a bite!

a friend fished Pender on the weekend with nothing to show and he knows his stuff, so I'd say pretty quiet.

I was at Pneder Bluffs from 9 till 1 or so, saw 1 landed looked to be in the teens, As for me well 1 Dog fish which wrapped the line around his neck and commited suicide...but was sure nice to be out in decent weather!!

Thanks for the updates guys. I have never fished for salmon down there and didn't know if there was much to try at this time.
