Sockeye fishing in Sooke was great yesterday. We caught 8 and lost a few on a charter. The two biggest were 10 pounds. We were a bit bummed out about the spring situation but the sockeye made up for it, they seemed to be in 80-100 feet deep in 300 feet of water.
