i caught one today at long probly around 6 pounds , i've never seen a fish that big <img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> I though it was going to kill me. want to go to long after school tommorow ?
5+ pounds sounds awesome. What did you catch it on? At Long lake? There was good results on Shawnigan with some 5 lbers caught. Apparently they are starting to bed right now.
I was on Quennell Lake yesterday during the gale force winds. We toughed it out for 4 hours and scratched 3 fish. Water temp. was encrouching 60 and the fish were in post spawn mode. There was the odd fish in the shallows otherwise the females are off the beds. Apparently, they were on beds at the end of March. There should be some wicked fishing this weekend with the hi pressure system coming in, man I wish I could be there..
