Shop lighting

I replaced 2 4ft T8 flourescents in my garage with 2 Galaxy LED 4 ft strip LEDs. Way brighter as mentioned , will see how they hold up.

Do you have to replace the whole fixture or just the bulbs, do you leave the ballast in take it out ??

I replaced the entire fixture as the LEDs are not bulbs but a strip. I kept going through ballasts with the other
lights and every store I went to kept saying to just go with these new LED strip lights as my ceiling is 9 feet

My shop is 22x 24, 10ft ceiling and opted for 4 , 4 Light t8 high bay fixtures. Works good for me.
