WITW ...all I know is that last year they were in development and were eager to support the JDF Derby because they were going to get into this market. Maybe give them a call. I'll be talking to them soon about sponsoring the derby again this year.

Shock Wave is working their way into the sporty market this year with their base which used to cost almost $3000, being offered to the rec fishermen for $1500. That's almost half price. Id love to own a pair.

I like them so much Id buy a set if I didn't have to modify my boat so much to get them in. Might still do it just not this year.

Well at 3.5 inches of travel that is "entry level IMHO. The question is do they do the job? Its painful to find a good video of these things in action.

Duct-tape a lifejacket to your butt instead.
