Now I get the question. Yes the rod is all one piece with all its bends and raps, just like the spreader bar it started out as. It is easier to see if you expand the picture.

Thanks for all the info and although I will probably get the seaqualizer in the future I will make one out of a spare spreader bar as shown. Both the Campion and the big boat have been money hungry this year and the $100 that the seaqualizer costs is going to go for fuel for now. We’re heading to the Broughtons on Sunday so hopefully we’ll have something to report. Tight lines.

I use a milk crate. It may look ghetto as hell but works surprisingly well.
