Rock or Ling cod off Oak Bay?

Anyone know if there is a good spot within ten or fifteen minutes of the Oak Bay boat ramp to jig for rock or ling cod?

There are tons of great spots that used to hold a LOT of bottomfish. Look at the charts and find the reefs. Overfishing almost wiped them out. They are slowly making a comeback but most are still small and with being only allowed to keep 1 it doesn't really warrant the effort. If you are thinking catch and release then please fish shallow to allow the rockfish to recover from the pressure differential.
