replacing original hooks

I am curious as to what is the recommended hooks to replace the original ones on store bought spoons. and what size to use for anchovy and hootchie. I have heard go bigger for hootchie and smaller for chovy.

Gammy makes open eye hooks that you can crimp on to spoon... as well you can get mustad stainless hooks. For Hoochies I like to use one 6/0 mustad (95170 i think it is)crimped on a swivel, but some guys like to fish tandem gammy's or owners 4/0 or so.... same on the bait tandem 4/0 or 5/0 really depends on the size of your bait.

I use owner trebles with a gammy trailer on all anchovy setups.

My son replaced original hooks on anchovy teaser heads with gamakatsu red trebles - impressed with hook set. Last outing, three hits and three in the boat.
