Price of hds8 gen1

Hi looking at a used hds8 gen1 from a friend includes power cable but no transducer what do you guys think would be a fair price?

Judging from ebay $400 USD. Don't forget the bracket for mounting. I have a new transducer for sale if you need it.

problem now is the 3rd gen and chrip has hit the market big time
so all though the unit all ok
its now dated and the lower end elite 5's 7's can be had for the same money so
its 50-50 decision
good luck, if it where a gen 2 then i would say go for it in a heartbeat.

I would like to have a gen2 or gen3 but the asking price is 450 it makes it tempting to settle for the gen 1

At the sports show I asked what my HDS 7 was worth and the sales guy said about $350 U.S. so an 8 is probably$4-450 range. I was looking at a hds9 touch gen 2.

I bought a hds5gen2 with transducer50/200 for 450 ish, last summer

Hey 450 seems like a good price just buy a p66 transducer and your good to go
