Prawn heads at the bottom of the tomatoes plants in the spring, excellent fertilizer The plants feed off them all summer ....seafood cioppino in the fall .

God dammit my neighbors make seafood stews with all kinds of nasty **** and dump it in their garden all summer. Stinks to holy hell.

I like the idea of smashing the prawn heads up and making a bit of a slurry, Will have to try it. Sometimes if I have caught small cod bycatch in the prawn traps, and they are all bug eyed. I have cut them up and added them back into the bait. And you can tell that the have been eaten on the next pull.
