Yes, and heard a popular guide out of Hardy is doing the same thing. Buying fricken quota!

Please post up what guiding outfit in Hardy was buying quota.

I know of a company or two that have allowed purchased quota on their boats but none that are purchasing it themselves.

That might be the case then. It's not your outfit Bear Cove. I don't want to name the guide because I don't have all the details of how the transaction took place. My buddy said he was made aware of this opportunity by the guide, so he said, 'sure, why not?' He does not have the background of the issue to make an informed decision.

Forest fire smoke stinks but not as bad as the Bee Ess from Rogers Lodge.

They fish in fog....float planes were flying all around the south coast during the week or so of smoke. (Customers not being able to fly in was another excuse)

Rodgers.....a pile of garbage on so many levels from quota to cancelling the season.
