I had the unfortunate conversation with a guest from south of the boarder this afternoon...The almighty OMC motor trim.
Seems as tho it is not a fixable thing?
I turn 60 this September...and I still refuse to pay someone to fix things...well... **** that I can't....that be said it took some time to figure it out.
Figure it out...yes...work...yes
Make a new friend....yet to be seen.
If anyone has an omc leg with a motor trim...check the wires and bleed the cylinders...if it hums...no leaks...it will work.
Just a pain in the butt to fill up.
For those that are not sure....this is old school....trim is done by lifting the inboard motor....leg on the omc is just for transport...NOT TRIM
