Newbie Intro...and already asking a favour.

Really enjoy your site, some great information here, while I am a newbie here I do belong to quite a few Ont based fishing sites. My hope is to always make more friends in the fishing world.
My name is Mike P and I live in the Ottawa valley. I was raised in Victoria but have lived in the province of Ont for the past 25 years. I am a avid fisherman and local guide who enjoys the great outdoors. Trout and salmon are my passion but I don't mind tossing the odd lure for muskie or gar. Each year in my area my goal is to catch each local trout per season. {specks, browns, splake, lakers and rainbow's}
I am out in Victoria for 2 weeks from June 18-July 2. I am looking to add to this year's caught trout species. I am really interested in Dolly Vardens, Kokanee and of course Cutties. I am hoping for Cowichan lake area. If anyone is willing to share some info or share a boat with me I'd gladly cover cost's and return the favour to anyone on this board when in my neck of the woods. I also understand it is not the best time of year for what I am looking for.

try the creekmouths on cowichan,a cowichan spoon trolled will always produce.I prefer Shaw creek as a first choice and then cotton wood.both locations will yield big fish,rainbows cutties etc.cannot keep dollies but they are there good luck and maybe we will see you on the lake this summer
