Craigflower Bridge herring fishing is an absolute bust this year. I have put in 50 hours or so over the past 6 weeks to catch about 50 herring. The big ones are done for the year and we are now catching only small ones (6 inch size). I don't expect it to get any better but will keep trying on and off for the balance of March.
