Anyone heard of any fish coming in off nanaimo?

Was out off of Neck Point the other night.Lots of bait.Hit one fish on a 3.5 Army Truck coyote behing a green glow flaher at 110 feet.Had it on for 3 seconds before a seal had it.Chased it down and got my gear back and half of a 10 pound spring.NICE!!!The seals have to go!!!Hell of a fight though.

So you keep half the Spring that the seal left you, for crab bait or whatever. How do you enter it on your license? 1 or 1/2 ??
What would Fisheries call your catch?

Sure did,and wrote it down as exactly that.Maybe if it happens again the two will make a whole.Would not have minded running into the authorities that night as I was a little pi##sed off at the time and would have loved to explain myself.
