I went out on that last windy sunday to Shawnigan. Was too windy for bassin' so we trolled. We started trolling cranks and caught a couple of smaller rainbows in deeper water and then switched to trolling spoons over shallower humps. We caught quite a few Fall spawning-coloured trout around 1-3lbs. Turned into an awesome day. Just trolling smaller spoons, silver and gold single-hooked jobs. One big split shot for a little depth.
