Well finally the season has begun the new twin 300 suzuki's are finally mounted on my 29' Proline lodge guide boat and ready to rock although Im still breaking them in it looks like 3800 Rpms gives me 28 knots with a 20 to 22 gph fuel burn.

I will be fishing and pounding the mud at Kitty Coleman from 12 til 6 as I have guests to take out. Hope theres some fish around and they havent gone south to chase herring. I will be monitoring channel 16 so call me if you like. I will write a report tonight.

Well it was quite rough only boat on the water. Full reverse with the wind and could only slow the boat down to 1.8 knots LOL. Against the wind full throttle to be able to steer and only going 1.8 Had one hit but between wind, tide and waves it was hard to bounce bottom. Still was great to be on the water....As for the boat I dont own it I just get paid to run it...
