very cool catch - You sure don't hear about king crab around here too often.

the hoops i use are three feet by three feet cyrcle
later i'll go snap apic and post it[8D]

So you've got a 3ft diameter hoop with sides 3ft high that lay flat until you bring up? thats a question

no its just a flat hoop with a salmon head tided to the middle the king crab walk on start eating. when you pull it to the top thay can't walk off because there legs fall into the mesh. inside the steel hoop its all mesh like you see on salmon nets you tipicly pull the hoop every 15 to 30 minutes[8D].
