Would like to find an isolated lake in central Vancouver Island. Baxter Aviation and Tours didn't know of any and just wanted me to find one and they would then quote a price depending on air time. Customer Service is just a cliche, isn't it. Want to fly-in, tent for 3 days and then fly-out. Need a lake name now, got a name for me?" Bob

i agree with poppa swiss, a map would do pretty well.

That mapping site (http://www.fishwizard.com/)is just perfect and I'll be using it to check out "Gold Lake" (the inlet end). I had to download Netscape, which only took a minute. Thanks bradgfish & Pnutz, Bob

Give Tofino airlines a call, in Tofino of all places! They have a number of lakes they have serviced for years. Air Nootka out of Gold River does the same, you will get way better results then dealing with a city airline like Baxter...

I would look into the lakes around Nitnat hobiton, tsusiat, squalicum , I dont think anybody has gone for years .
you have to give a report back !

sarita lake isn't necessarily fly in but it produces nice fish south west of port alberni, buella lake is great but too small to fly into
